POP ART: Do you hear what I’m writing?
At times, we seem our feelings are so intense that they would not belong anywhere other than a comic book dresser. We jump into the late 1950s and 1960s, to the United Kingdom and the United States. At that time, the POP ART movement was booming and artists such as Andy Warhol, Roy Lichtenstein, Richard Hamilton and others. As resistance to the art practices that existed after the Second World War, they used ideas from the world of comics, popular culture, consumerism, such as food packaging, for their artistic expression, making unusual collages.
We will learn the meaning of the word onomatopoeia, how to remember its pronunciation and paint a plaque on the board with a unique exclamation or interjection.
